REFLEXOLOGY is an ancient form of health care.


The use of Reflexology is noted to have been around since about 4,000 (BC). Hippocrates, A Physician of note advocated a system of treatment that incorporated diet, fresh air and advised Massage or rubbing an area of the soft tissue of the body for theraputic relaxation.
Chinese origins began, Shang Dynasty 16th to 11th century BC, but finger pressure began before this and both Acupuncture and Reflexology are now used in the East and the West.
Reflexology is a non-invasive treatment applied to the soles of the feet with the hands, mainly using the thumbs with light pressure and small circles along the meridian lines and points on the feet that correspond with points of the body.


The treatment helps to oxygenate the blood, improve circulation, induces deep relaxation, reduces the tension of stress, gives feelings of well-being, promotes natural healing, it calms the body and soothes the mind. Reflexology aims to strengthen and balance the energy flow.

There is no age or gender barrier for Reflexology and the treatment does not offer a conventional medical diagnosis, but a Reflexology diagnoses can be applied and worked on accordingly.
